Going a Bit More In-Depth

I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in the Spring of 2020 with a degree in both Film & Communication. I had been involved in film and video production since my freshman year of High School, where I started by participating in regional film competitions in Columbus, Ohio.

After High School, I spent my College years participating in and studying film and broadcast media. I worked my way up to produce the campus news broadcast, Seahawk Central News, and landed a reporting internship at one of the local television news stations. I also worked as a location sound mixer on a number of student films before turning my attention to documentary work.

Since graduating, I've learned some copywriting skills and have been working in B2B and B2C marketing for Lindquist Insurance in Frederick, MD. I've gotten the opportunity to work in a number of different media ecosystems, and I'm confident that it translates well into the role of a generalist media producer. From print, direct mail, and social media retargeting with video, I'll have plenty to share with my marketing experience as well.
